Back in 2023, longtime friends Ella and Serina were over dinner in Toronto doing what friends do best: complaining. Top of the list that night was how hard it was to get a simple STI test.


The waiting rooms. The awkward conversations. The judgment. Meanwhile, the pandemic had just taught everyone to test themselves at home in 15 minutes. So why was sexual health still stuck in a waiting room?


Then came a girls’ trip to Montreal, and the discovery that rapid tests existed for STIs too. Same idea as a COVID test: swab, wait, read your result.


They piloted trusti in Canada the next year. Now they’re bringing it to the UK.


That's how trusti was born.
